Outrageously expensive. Clearly a tourist trap for those that want flash over substance. I should have checked the menu before going. 1. Cuts of beef start at no less than $100 USD. Soup, salad and rice—typically included with any meal—is another $10 USD. They ask for tip on top of the bill—something I’ve seen no where else in Japan. 2. While the service is incredibly friendly, it is appropriate for a fast casual restaurant, not an establishment where you’re paying a $400 USD bill. The experience was rushed, taking less than 45 minutes. I was asked to leave a review immediately after the meal. We were seated at a counter, not a booth. The door was left open leaving the place frigid. If you want quality beef and a quality experience, I’d highly recommend skipping and picking a vetted Japanese BBQ style restaurant that does a set with courses.
